CEO, Danny Kalman recaps 2021 for ella Forums

By 21/12/2021CEO

ella Forums has thrived and continued to bring charity leaders together throughout this challenging year. For those who don’t know who we are, we are an organisation that works with charity leaders to create localised forums bringing experienced leaders, emerging leaders and Trustees together to discuss confidential and transparent issues whilst identifying a collective solution by sharing similar experiences our members have had in order to grow their charity.

To finalise the year we hear from CEO, Danny Kalman who wraps up the successful year:

“As we approach the end of 2021, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members and chairs for their support in joining our meetings during a very challenging year. I sincerely hope that they have benefited from our monthly speaker sessions, peer to peer meetings or attending our annual conference last May.

I am delighted to confirm that we now have 100 members, with approx. 40 new charity leaders joining us during the year.

Our speaker sessions have been popular with a regular attendance between 30-40 people and it is our intention that these will continue on the second Thursday of the month (between 10.00-11.30am). I would like to send my special thanks to Julie Pelych for organising these sessions month on month.

In October, we appointed our first Member Director, Marcia Lewinson (a member of our West Midlands Forum) and I am sure that Marcia will have contact with you during next year. We are now finalising our plans for next year and I am confident that most of our meetings will continue with zoom giving us a wider opportunity to connect even more charity leaders and Trustees together.

We have plans to grow ella Forums membership next year and we cannot wait to bring our members to the next level in their organisation. If you have any questions about becoming a member please email Phil Thompson (phil@ella-forums.org).

Finally, I would like to wish you a very happy festive season and a happy and safe New Year.”
