Trustees Forum – Supporting Charity Trustees

ella Forums is delighted to invite you to attend a forum for Charity Trustees. This is our first forum for Trustees and also the first entirely virtual forum which makes it possible for trustees to join from anywhere in the UK.

ella Forums exists to bring together leaders and trustees of charities and social enterprises with the goal of developing their leadership role and to further develop their leadership skills through membership of a forum of peers. We know from our members that the opportunity to learn and share together has a huge impact.  Supporting leaders and trustees and their learning is as important as ever.

This small, diverse group of charity Trustees meets on a regular basis, creating a network of impartial advisors to each other.  The meetings are either a peer-to-peer session or a speaker session. The peer-to-peer sessions for this forum are chaired by Gill Martin, an experienced executive coach and facilitator and include time for ‘action learning’.  Members bring an opportunity, challenge or issue to the session and together, through a structured process, the opportunity, challenge or issue is explored and possible solutions generated.

The speaker sessions are available to members of all of the forums and are led by experts on the topics identified as being of interest and relevance.  Example topics: Brand strategy; Building resilience; Becoming a better leader; Being human in a virtual world; and Fundraising.
