Against a backdrop of economic turmoil, the UK is facing its greatest ever labour shortage. The challenge for leaders is no longer about getting the right people on the bus but keeping the right people on the bus! The biggest single reason that people leave their jobs is the lack of recognition. Hence the greatest challenge is keeping the right people and empowering them to do the right thing.

Derek will challenge conventional thinking. His presentation is likely to change your view of employee recognition and your responsibility as a manager for the rest of your life.

About the Speaker:

Derek is a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association, a member of the Institute of Customer Service, a past CEO of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants.

As well as running The WOW! Awards, for 14 years Derek was Chair of a major leisure company with 2500 employees over 47 locations.
